Ryan Ibrahim Alfaran, 17 years old, left this world on March 17th, 2013. Ryan was born and lived most of his life in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is survived by his parents Crystal and Scott Griepentrog, Ibrahim and Amel Alfaran, his brothers Faris and Saad; his sisters, Jood and Karam all in Indianapolis, as well as his Grandparents Edward Love of Columbus, and Dal and Lorraine Griepentrog of Indianapolis.

Ryan loved music and art. He played piano and guitar, and wrote much of his own music. There was rarely a time when Ryan was without pen and paper and music - he was constantly working on designs, artwork, and lyrics.

Most recently he attended Options Charter School in Carmel, and previously attended Herron High School, Ben Davis High School, Columbus North High School, and had attended Horizon Christian School.

The visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, on Wednesday, March 20th 2013 from 4pm to 9pm. Services will also be held at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel on Thursday, March 21st 2013 at 11 am. Following, there will be a commitment service at Crown Hill Cemetery at 3pm. A reception will be held at 675 Sugarbush Dr, Zionsville, after the commitment service.
