Obituary for Adam Ray Fuller

Adam Ray Fuller, 29, Greenwood, entered Heaven on July 25th, 2013 following an accidental death while fishing. Adam was born October 20, 1983 to Dennis and Renee Fuller. He married Cortney (Minnix) Fuller on November 10, 2012 and they shared the joy of family with his son, Elijah Fuller. Adam’s greatest love and devotion was, first and foremost, to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to his family and friends.

Adam attended Plainfield High School and played 4 years of football, including a state title game. He then graduated from IUPUI in 2009. Adam was an entrepreneur and business owner since his college days. His most recent successful business venture was owning and operating Big Boy’s Construction Inc. with his business partner, Mark Andrew. Aside from professional achievements, Adam enjoyed years of body building accomplishments and mixed martial arts.

Adam used his free time to be an excellent husband and father, son and brother, always putting his family first. He loved fishing, kayaking, hiking, picnicking and anything that allowed him to be in God’s creation with his friends and family. Adam had his hobbies, cars, and toys, but what he enjoyed the most was sharing those things with the people he loved. Adam’s passion for intentional conversations led him to share about his faith, his love for knowledge and his life experiences with everyone. His spirit of generosity and loyalty impacted many people and the effects are still felt today. Although Adam’s life was short, each day was an exciting adventure lived out enthusiastically and fearlessly.

Adam is survived by his wife, Cortney Fuller; Son, Elijah Fuller; Parents, Dennis and Renee Fuller; Sisters, Dana (Matthew) Stoltz and Erin Shelton; Niece, Blakely, and many more beloved family members. He was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, William Ray Fuller and Kenneth Neal.
Services honoring Adam’s life will be held at College Park Church, 2606 W. 96th St. Indianapolis, where he attended with his family regularly. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Wednesday July 31, 2013 and from 9-10am Thursday August 1, 2013. The funeral service will begin at 10am Thursday August 1. Adam will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana.
